Tom Selleck

Tom SelleckAmerican actor Thomas William Selleck. His most famous role was the private investigator Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988) and for which he received five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in the Drama Series which he won in 1985. From 2010 to 2010, Selleck has been the New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. Since 2005, he's played the character of Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief in small-town New York City. Also, he's played in nine TV films inspired by Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck also played the role as Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect, in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Three Men and a Little Lady (90). Since Magnum, P.I., his appearances have included more than fifty roles on television as well as in film, such as the films Quigley Down Under, Mr. Baseball, and Lassiter. He played the recurring television role of Monica Geller's love interest, Dr. Richard Burke in Friends, as Lance White (the likeable but unassuming character) in The Rockford Files and as A.J.
