Dennings was in a relationship with Nick Zano from 2011-2014, her co-star in "2 Broke Girls". Following their breakup, she began dating Josh Groban. The two remained in a relationship until 2016. At the beginning of 2021, Dennings met music producer Andrew W.K. In May 2021 they confirmed that their friendship had begun. Dennings has been a big fan from 2014. Dennings is Jewish and was raised in the context of a Jewish family. She has expressed that although she has been raised Jewish but her faith does not influence her in her life. Dennings has many hobbies, including gardening, painting and reading. The plan was to go to an art college, however after the entire portfolio of her was lost in floods, her plans dissolved. At the end of the day she decided to take this as a sign to continue acting. She isn't a drinker or smoke cigarettes, and is a fan of Transcendental Meditation.
