Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, Ladd had her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd kept building on her win in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. InvictaFC 11 was her very first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill as she managed to finish her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in the catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd did not weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Her UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with her ground and pound tactics, resulting in the TKO 2nd round win. Ladd remained in the lead and picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd beat Evinger within the first few seconds and was awarded a prize for her performance during the evening. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both the fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round in UFC on ESPN 7. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via majority decision.
